Food Assurance

We specialise in advising & assisting UK & overseas food businesses in meeting the Food Safety, Hygiene and Quality Assurance expectations of local, legislative and customer requirements. We have assisted numerous food businesses in gaining Certification to the BRC Global Standard for Food & the International Food Standard (IFS) . The BRC Global Standard and IFS are key pre-requisites for supplying any of the major UK or EU food retailers, and increasingly the benchmark used by food processors in sourcing raw materials for their own food manufacturing operations.

Spec Tecs
Accurate product specifications are a vital element in the critical path to supplying any major food retailer. TQS-Spec-Tecs provide a dedicated technical specification writing & support service to retailers and manufacturers across all major retail specification formats.

Training
Key to the successful implementation of any food safety management system is the application of HACCP principles. TQS Food Consulting is a registered training centre for HACCP with: The Royal Society for Public Health and The Society of Food Hygiene and Technology.
Andrew Skinner has regularly lecturered in HACCP Assessment for Enforcement Officers across the UK.
