Who are TQS Food Consulting?
We are a Food Safety, Hygiene and Quality Assurance consultancy with a wealth of food, drink and allied industry experience.
Our team of Food Safety Specialists, Technologists & Specification writers have worked across a number of areas of the food industry, from raw materials handling & management, food processing and manufacture, importing & distribution and with a number of the major UK Food Retailers. Our experience has been gained working with or for a variety of businesses from small private firms to major blue chip plc companies.
Our experience has been gained across a diverse range of product categories including: Fresh Meat, Cooked and processed Meat Products, Continental meats such as Salami and Dry cured (Parma) ham, Pate, Bacon and Sausages, Milk, Continental & UK territorial Cheeses, Yoghurt, Pizza, Pasta, Rice, Ready Meals, Smoked Salmon, Bakery, Cream Patisserie, Soft drinks, Fruit Juice, Chocolate and Confectionery, Ambient Stable Grocery and Wines & Spirits.
Our Founding Director, Andrew Skinner, has travelled extensively over the past 22 years, across the EU and further afield throughout the world and is therefore well positioned to understand and appreciate many of the 'cultural differences' and 'attitudes' that often prevail to Food Safety, Legality and Quality in different countries.

Andrew Skinner and his team of Technologists, are all qualified in Food Safety or related subjects and are members of at least one of the following professional organisations: The Institute of Food Science and Technology (IFST), The Society of Food Hygiene and Technology (SOFHT) or The Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH), as well as being involved with a number of recognised Food Safety related committees or working groups in the UK.
