Andrew Skinner - Managing Director
Andrew has over three decades' experience in the food industry. As the founder of TQS Food Consulting, he has extensive experience in food safety, quality and hygiene across many areas of the food industry, encompassing raw materials, food processing and manufacture including import/export and distribution.
Karen Sargant - Client Services Director
Started in the food industry in 1989 as QA operative covering Sausage, stuffing and deli products. Karen then moved to a position in product development. She moved to process development covering all the above product groups, eventually progressing to become Quality Assurance manager in bakery operations.
Stephen Rendell - Food Technologist
Stephen is the newest member of the team. He is a qualified Environmental Health Practitioner having graduated in 2010 with a BSc (Hons). Since leaving university, he has dealt with a variety of raw material and ingredient suppliers to implement Food Safety Management Systems including supplier auditing to meet BRC and Organic compliance standards. Already an experience Specification Technician, Stephen is proving to be a great addition to the team.
Tina Hinds - TQS Associate
Tina is a very experienced 'hands on' food safety and technical manager with more than 30 years' experience in a variety of manufacturing and processing industries. Tina's people-centred approach to food safety and quality means that she is ideally suited to trouble shooting and problem solving in food manufacturing environments.
Anna Wyatt - TQS Associate
Anna graduated in 2001 with a BSc in Food & Consumer Management and entered into the food industry as a Food Technologist, quickly gaining promotion and also qualifying as a Lead Auditor. With a sound knowledge of BRC and retailer technical standards, together with experience of major supermarkets on-line specification systems, Anna has a lot of exposure to the artwork generation and approval process together with being fully up to date with the requirements of the Food Information for Consumers regulations (EC 1169/2011).
Helen Hyde - Team PA
A qualified Private Secretary with over 30 years' experience in the food industry, with specific involvement with food safety. Helen has worked for Marks & Spencer and The Society of Food Hygiene and Technology before setting up a Virtual Office providing secretarial and administration support to small businesses. Helen is a vital element in the day to day functioning of the TQS Food Consulting team.
